What is GAUGE?

A decentralised protocol for minting and trading synthetic assets, tokens that track the value of a real-world reference, backed by collateral and priced by an optimistic oracle. See Introducing GAUGE.

Do I need to know how to code to use it?

No. You choose an approved reference, deposit collateral, and mint, all through the interface. Trading an existing synthetic is a single swap.

Can GAUGE freeze or seize my funds?

No. The protocol is non-custodial, you sign every action, and collateral sits in contracts, not with a company. No admin key can move your position.

Which chain does GAUGE run on?

Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 (chain ID 4663). Synthetics, collateral, and governance all settle on-chain. See Getting started for wallet setup.

Is GAUGE live?

Not yet. Nothing is deployed, contract addresses on this site are placeholders, and no audit has been done. See Audits and Risks.

Who is behind it?

A small pseudonymous team, anonymous by choice.
